On the afternoon of March 28th, Mr. Zhang Huiliang, General Manager of Shanghai Architectural and Engineering Constitution Co.,Ltd., Mr. Xu Hao, Administrative Assistant General Manager and other 4 guests paid a visit to SMU. Prof. Huang Youfang, President of SMU, Prof.Yang Wanfeng, Vice President of SMU, and leaders of Logistics Engineering College,College of Ocean Environment and Engineering, Pudong College of Business Administration, President Office and other relevant departments gave the guests a warm reception.

Prof. Huang Youfang, President of SMU introduced to the guests about the discipline development and teaching staff construction in Logistics Engineering, Logistics Economy, Logistics Management, Logistics Information, Port Channel. Prof. Huang Youfang, President of SMU expressed that the school-enterprise cooperation platform would help to promote the teaching and researching ability, help to improve the students’ analysis and operational ability, help to promote the SMU’s influence in professional fields. He hoped that the two sides could carry forward cooperation and seek mutual benefits and double-win results.

Mr. Zhang Huiliang briefed on the development, business scope and experiences in aspect of logistics engineering design of Shanghai Architectural and Engineering Constitution Co.,Ltd. He also proposed tentative ideas on school-enterprise cooperation approach.

The two sides had an in-depth discussion on the cooperative mechanism of combining learning with research and production, talents and elites’ recruitment and establishing a national scholarship, etc. They also reached agreement on the cooperative operation framework.

The guests also paid a visit to the Marine Engine Simulator, Logistics Engineering College,College of Ocean Environment and Engineering and the library of SMU.
