On December 4th, Mr. David Cobham, Vice Chancellor of University of Lincoln and Ms. Chen Hailan, Director of the China Representative Office of University of Lincoln, visited SMU. Mr. Shi Xin, Vice president of SMU met with the guests. Related persons from the International Office, Logistics Engineering College, and College of Information Engineering also attended the meeting.
Mr. Shi Xin extended his warm welcome to David Cobham. He introduced the basic situation of SMU and the overseas students exchange programs of SMU. He said that SMU and University of Lincoln have many similar disciplines, which provides a good foundation for cooperation. He hoped that in future, the two sides could explore the possibility of cooperation and develop student exchange programs in different forms and levels.
David Cobham introduced the basic situation of University of Lincoln and the development of the school's international cooperation program. He totally agreed with Mr. Shi Xin’s proposal on carrying out student exchange programs between SMU and University of Lincoln. He said University of Lincoln would vigorously promote the negotiation and implementation of the programs.
