On the evening of April 29th, the 13th Luo Huangfeng Doctoral Prizes Award Ceremony was held successfully in SMU. Prof. Jin Yongxing, Vice President of SMU attended the award ceremony and Mr. Luo Huangfeng was invited to grant award to the prize winners.
Luo Huangfeng Doctoral Prizes is established in SMU by Mr. Luo Huangfeng, the Hongkong industrialist, aiming at assisting and encouraging SMU teachers with doctor’s degrees and outstanding achievements in education or research. Through selection, Luo Huangfeng Doctoral Prizes of this year selected 20 outstanding teachers from 256 applicants of various colleges of SMU.
Mr. Luo Huangfeng introduced his career and achievements to the prize winners as well and was quite delightful to see the progress achieved by SMU in the recent years. Mr. Wang Tianzhen of Logistics Engineering College, on behalf of all prize winners, presented souvenirs to Mr. Luo to express gratefulness.
