On May 19th, NYK Scholarship Award Ceremony of SMU Continuing Education College was held in NYK Hall of SMU Lingang new campus. The Award Ceremony was attended by Prof. Kong Fancun, Vice President of SMU, Mr. Toru Asai, General Manager of NYK Singapore Company, Captain N. P. Singh, Director of Seamen Training Department. Prof. Ruan Wei, Dean of Continuing Education College hosted the Ceremony.
Prof. Kong Fancun expressed great appreciation to the international career-oriented education mode and extended gratitude to COSCO Manning Cooperation Inc. for their enormous support to SMU. General Manager Toru Asai summarized in his speech the achievement since the joint education program with SMU was launched and expressed thanks for the high-quality senior seamen that SMU has specially cultivated for NYK Company.
Prof. Kong Fancun, Vice President of SMU, Mr. Toru Asai and Mr. Zhou Liming together granted the awards to the students who won the NYK Scholarship this year.
