On May 27th, Mr. Hezekiah N. Chibulunje, Deputy Minister of Infrastructure Development, Ms. Tumpe Mwaijande, Principal Transport Officer, Ministry of Infrastructure Development, Mr. Timothy N. P. Manyaga, Deputy Executive Secretary, Registration and Accreditation of the National Council for Technical Education, Mr. Ligate Sande, Chairman of Board of Dar es Salaam Maritime Institute(DMI), and Capt. Shukuru A. Mkali, Acting Principal of DMI paid a visit to SMU. Prof. Yu Shicheng, president of SMU, met with the guests with cordiality.
Mr. Hezekiah N. Chibulunje, expressed his sincere thanks to SMU for the hospitality. DMI is a maritime school replete with vigor, hope and potentials, bearing the hope to cultivate talented people for shipping industry through cooperation and communication with SMU.
After the meeting, Deputy Minister and his delegates visited SMU Maritime Simulation Center, library, and sports center with the company of PresidentYu Shicheng.
