From June 8th to 11th, Mr. Kang Jung Nam, Chairman of Tongmyong Institute of Culture & Education of South Korea visited SMU. Prof. Jin Yongxing, Vice President of SMU, together with Mr. Wang Haiwei, President Assistant of SMU and principals of relevant departments, had cordial talks with the guests. The two parties discussed intensively on exchange teacher lectures, student exchange project and drew up specific implementing schemes.
Tongmyong Institute of Culture & Education, founded in 1977, is a comprehensive university with such leading engineering disciplines as mechanical, electronic and information. The Harbor Logistics Institute of Tongmyong and Logistics Engineering College of SMU signed an academic exchange and cooperation agreement in 2009.
