On June 23 rd，the 1st DHL Bursary Award Ceremony was held at SMU. Ms.Wang Huijun, deputy-director of DHL HR Department, Prof. Yu Shicheng, SMU President and Prof. Kong Fancun, SMU Vice President attended the ceremony.
Prof. Yu Shicheng gave his best congratulations on those who had received this bursary and encouraged them to study with greater efforts. Prof. Yu also spoke highly of the kind-hearted deeds of DHL.
Ms. Wang Huijun, briefly introduced the history and development of DHL, and expressed her congratulations to the winners. She hoped that DHL and SMU could further their cooperation in future.
DHL provided financial support each year to 20 SMU students who are financially difficult but perform well at study. The bursary is 5000 RMB per person. DHL and SMU had reached a five year agreement for this financial support.
