On February 13, Prof. Osman Kamil SAG, Rector of the Piri Reis Maritime University of Turkey visited SMU. Prof. Jin Yongxing, Vice President of SMU and leaders of relative departments gave the guest a warm reception.
Prof. Jin Yongxing firstly extended his sincere welcome to Prof. Osman Kamil SAG for his second visit. Then he introduced the latest achievements of SMU. Prof. Osman Kamil SAG, Rector of the Piri Reis Maritime University of Turkey also briefed on the status quo of Turkey’s maritime education. And he focused on the major design and construction of its new campus. The two sides had a discussion on the cooperation of student and faculty exchanges.
