On the morning of February 21, Prof. Yu Shicheng, Chairman of SMU University Council, Prof. Huang Youfang, President of SMU and Mr. Wang Haiwei, Assistant to the SMU President paid a visit to the Shanghai Petrochemical Company Limited (SPC). Mr. Wang Zhiqing, Director of the SPC and two Deputy Directors of SPC, Mr. Zhang Jianping and Mr. Tang Chengjian gave the guests a warm reception.
Mr. Wang Zhiqing, Director of the SPC extended his warm welcome to the guests from SMU, and conveyed his heart-felt gratitude to SMU for its support to the development of SPC in strategic research, process optimization as well as information service.
Prof. Yu Shicheng, Chairman of SMU University Council reviewed the practical and effective cooperation between SPC and SMU in the last decade. He also extended his sincere gratitude to SPC for its support to the construction of the logistics discipline, materials supplies to the COSTAMARE Engine Room Integrated Laboratory and improvements of the educational conditions of SMU.
Prof. Huang Youfang, President of SMU gave an introduction of the latest achievements of SMU in academic teaching, scientific researching and discipline constructions. He hoped that the two sides could expand their cooperation to a larger scale and make joint efforts to promote the development of both sides.
