On the afternoon of February 22, the Bip Bop Project Scholarship Awarding Ceremony of Schneider Electric was held at the Logistics Engineering College of SMU. Prof. Jin Yongxing, Vice President of SMU and leaders of relevant departments attended the ceremony. The scholarship winners consisted of 9 postgraduates and 21 undergraduates majoring in Mechanical Engineering and Electrical Engineering.
Prof. Jin Yongxing encouraged the winners to follow the requirements of the Operation Blessing China and get involved in charitable activities, in order to toughen themselves and to bring love to the society.
The winners afterwards visited the SMU-Schneider Electric Unite Laboratory.
The scholarship award ceremony is the second of the like funded by the Schneider Electric China at SMU, and conducted jointly by the Operation Blessing International Relief and Development Corporation (Operation Blessing) and the China Charity Federation. The scholarship aims at aiding those needy students who is outstanding in both morality and academic study.
