On April 27, Prof. Huang Youfang, President of SMU visited the Old Dominion University (ODU) in Norfolk, Virginia, United States. Mr. John Broderick, President of ODU and Ms. Carol Simpson, Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs of ODU gave the guests a warm reception.
During Prof. Huang’s visit to ODU, a cooperative agreement on an one-semester-long exchange program for the postgraduates between the Scientific Research Academy of SMU and the College of Business and Public Administration of ODU was signed by the two sides. The Scientific Research Academy of SMU and the China Center of ODU also signed a summer school cooperative program.
Prof. Huang Youfang, President of SMU also paid a visit to the Virginia Port Authority and the Headquarters of the Foremost Group in New York. And he also attended the sodality of the North American Alumni Association. SMU and ODU signed the Memorandum of Cooperation in 2007.
