From April 29 to May 13, with the strong support from the International Office and the Academic Affairs Division of SMU, Prof. George Bluman from UBC of Canada came to visit SMU and give lectures on invitation of the Liberal Arts and Science College.
During his stay, Prof. George Bluman gave a 20-academic-hour course on Basic Calculus to the young teachers of Liberal Arts and Science College. He also deliver an open lecture to all the undergraduates of SMU and attent four academic exchange activities involving the teaching staff from SMU.
