On the morning of July 21st, the Graduation Ceremony of the SMU-WMU ITL Program in International Transport and Logistics Intake VII was held at SMU. Dr. Bj?rn Kjerve , President of World Maritime University, Prof. Shuo Ma, Vice-President of WMU and Director of Program, Prof. Yu Shicheng, President of SMU University Council, Prof. Jin Yongxing, Vice President of SMU, and other related directors attended the ceremony.
Prof. Yu Shicheng and Prof. Bj?rn Kjerve separately delivered a speech. They all congratulated to the students on their achievements and expressed their satisfaction of the abundant results of the program in the last eight years. With the establishment of WUM Shanghai Office, they believed that the two universities would have more cooperation in maritime education and scientific research.
The SMU-WMU ITL Program in International Transport and Logistics Intake has educated more than 230 senior professionals for the transport and logistics industry since 2004. It attracts students from China, Greece, US, India, Mexico, Indonesia, Thailand, Columbia, Nigeria, Taiwan and so on.
