From June 2012 to September 2012, five postgraduates from the University of Nantes, France joined the class of Electrical Engineering in the Logistics Engineering College of SMU for three months' researches and studies.
During this period, Prof. Tang Tianhao, Ms. Wang Tianzhen and Mr. Yao Gang served as the tutors of the 5 postgraduates. They studied on research projects related to Renewable Energy Sources (RES) together with Chinese students.
Through three months' studies, students from both countries deepened their mutual understandings. One French student called Neym expressed that in the very short period of time, he had fall in love with SMU and he liked the teachers and students very much. He hoped that he could come to China again and study at SMU. The Chinese students from the Logistics Engineering College of SMU also said that this activity helped them know more about the culture and life in France through these French friends.
