On 28th November, the Art Works Exhibition Ceremony of contemporary famous calligraphers Xie Renjie and Zhang Bainian, the guest professors of Xu Beihong School of Arts of Shanghai Maritime University, was held in the hall on the 2nd floor of the library.
Yang Wanfeng, vice president, made the opening speech and issued Guest Professor Certificates for these two calligraphers. Professors Xie Renjie and Zhang Bainian cut the ribbon together with the principals of relevant departments, such as the College of Arts and Sciences, the Xu Beihong School of Arts, the Propaganda Department and the Library Management Office.
After the opening ceremony, professors Xie Renjie and Zhang Bainian presented wonderful lectures respectively for the teachers and students of Xu Beihong School of Arts.
