Annual Conference of Undergraduate Teaching Review and Teaching Achievement Award 2012 Held at SMU

On Dec. 28th, the Annual Conference of Undergraduate Teaching Review and Teaching Achievement Award 2012 was held at Shanghai Maritime University. Colleges and teachers have been awarded for their excellent performance in the curriculum construction and teaching material construction, the construction of National Engineering Practice and Education Center, and the organization and instruction of university technological innovation competition and discipline competition in 2012.

Yan Wanfeng, Vice-President of SMU, delivered a speech “Intensify Teaching Reform, and Enhance Navigational Professional Training Quality”. He said that the key points of undergraduate teaching in 2013 is strengthening construction of majors, intensifying engineering teaching, promoting classroom teaching, stressing practice and so on.

Three teachers, Liu Wenbai, Yin Jun, and Shi Juan gave speeches separately, and share their experience in the curriculum construction and teaching material construction, the organization and instruction of university technological innovation competition and discipline competition, and other related areas.
