2015 SMU-Norden workshop was successfully held at SMU on the 21th of May. Mr. Jakob Bergholdt, Vice President of Norden and CEO of Norden (Singapore), together with Prof. Jin Yongxing, Chairman of SMU University Council, attended the workshop.
At first, Mr. Jakob Bergholdt delivered a speech titled “Outlook for the Dry Bulk Shipping Markets-Supply and Demand Drivers”.
And then, five representatives from Norden and 40 students from SMU had group discussions, in which 10 students were selected as workshop winners. Afterwards, Prof. Jin Yongxing and Mr. Jakob Bergholdt issued the certificates and bonuses to the winners.
It has been the 10th year that SMU and NORDEN had co-organized workshop. And the workshop has played an important role in helping SMU students better understand shipping market.
