Prof. Thomas Strothotte, President of Kühne Logistics University (KLU), Germany together with another two colleagues paid a visit to SMU recently. Prof. Huang Youfang, President of SMU, heads of International Office and Logistics Services Center and teacher representatives from College of Transport & Communications, met the visitors.
Prof. Huang Youfang extended his welcome to Prof. Thomas Strothotte’s another visit to SMU. He expressed that the strategy of One Belt and One Road China is implementing, as well as the establishment of Shanghai International Shipping Center and Free Trade Zone, are bringing SMU new opportunities for rapid development. Accordingly, SMU will devote itself to fostering top talents in shipping and logistics. And Prof. Huang Youfang also showed his desire to cooperate with KLU in terms of student exchange programs.
Prof. Thomas Strothotte introduced KLU’s models in international cooperations and he was eager to carry out student exchange programs with SMU step by step.
