2015 International Workshop on Supply Chain Management was convened at Room 128 of Administrative Building, SMU. It was organized jointly by the School of Economics & Management of SMU and the China Institute of FTZ Supply Chain. Prof. Huang Youfang, President of SMU and Chairman of Advisory Committee of the conference, delivered a welcoming speech at the opening ceremony.
Prof. Liubing, Dean of School of Economics & Management of SMU and Chairman of the conference presided over the opening ceremony. Dr. Cai Gangshu, Professor of Santa Clara University and Co-chairman of the workshop presided over the workshop.
After opening ceremony, 6 honored guests, namely Dr. Li Zhongyi and Dr. Chen Yingru, professors from Hong Kong University of Science & Technology; Dr. Chen Jian, professor from Tsinghua University; Dr. Du Yue, professor from Fudan University; Dr. Cai Gangshu, professor from Santa Clara University and Dr. Chen Rong, professor from University of California at Davis gave their speech to the audience respectively.
During the symposium, experts and scholars from home and abroad vigorously discussed academic problems concerning supply chain management. They are from 38 colleges and universities, including University of California at Davis, Santa Clara University, Tsinghua University, Fudan University, Jiaotong University, Shanghai University of Finance and Economics, Nanjing University, Nanjing University ofAeronautics and Astronautics, Chongqing University and Beijing Foreign Studies University. Meanwhile, the symposium also attracted massive doctoral students and postgraduates.
