On July 24th, the closing ceremony of the 4th Summer Program for International Students was held at Cosco Hall, SMU. Prof. Jin Yongxing, Chairman of SMU University Council, together with Director of SMU International Office, lecturer representatives, program volunteers as well as 49 international students from University of Plymouth, Britain attended the ceremony.
In his speech, Prof. Jin Yongxing first admired international students’ achievements gained in the summer program and then extended his graduations to every one of them. What’s more, he expressed his wish that their experiences in SMU summer program cloud turn into so memorable treasure that they feel honored to be a member of SMU whenever SMU is talked about no matter in their life or career.
Prof. Jin Yongxing together with Yu Hongrong, Director of SMU International Office issued certificates and prizes to excellent students in the program.
In the section to show teaching results, international students gave such performances as opusculum and songs in Chinese as well as Chinese Kongfu.
