Prof. Huang Youfang, President of SMU, accompanied by Prof. Hu Zhengliang from Law School of SMU met with Prof. Elwen M. Evans Q.C, Dean of Law School and Prof. Baris Soyer, Director of Institute of International Shipping and Trade Law of the Swansea University.
President Huang Youfang extended his warm welcome to Prof. Elwen M. Evans Q.C and gave him a brief introduction of SMU. President Huang Youfang showed that SMU boasts and attaches great importance to the discipline of maritime law. Presently, SMU is globally inviting applications for Dean of Law School. He also expressed his desire that SMU could strengthen cooperation with Swansea University in terms of faculty building and talent training.
Prof. Elwen M. Evans Q.C showed that SMU impresses him a lot and he hoped that SMU and Swansea University could deepen cooperation and seek development on common grounds.
