2015 International Summit Forum on Marine Power and Ship Electric Propulsion Technologies and the 4th Sino-France Marine Science & Technology Exchange was held in Lingang New Town. Prof. Jin Yongxing, Chairman of SMU University Council attended the forum and delivered an opening speech. And Prof. Tang Tianhao, Chairman of Organizing Committee presided over the forum and gave a themed speech.
Dr. Leo Lorenz, Chairman of European Center for Power Electronic (ECPE), Academician of the German Academy of Sciences, Germany, Prof. Chen Boshi, one of the founders and pioneers of electric transmission and electric automation discipline in China and other distinguished guests were invited to the forum. Prof. Li Yongdong from Tsinghua University, Dr. Benbouzid, and experts from home and abroad gave brilliant speeches.
Over 200 attendees were attracted by the forum, including those from ABB, GE, Siemens, Schneider, power built and shipyard from home and abroad. They exchanged ideas on the applications and tendency of Power electronics and power transmission in the fields of shipbuilding, ocean platform and isolated islands.
