On April 7, Chairman of Tai Chong Cheang Group(TCC Group) Gu Jiangang paid a visit to SMU. Prof. Jin Yongxing, Chairman of SMU University Council, received Mr. Gu Jiangang and his delegation in a cordial atmosphere. Present at the meeting were Heads of Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan Affairs Office, Student Affairs Division and Merchant Marine College.
Prof. Jin Yongxing, Chairman of SMU University Council, extended his welcome to Mr. Gu Jiangang and his delegation and expressed his sincere gratitude to Mr. Gu for giving lectures to our students. He hoped that Mr. Gu Jiangang could come to SMU again so that our students and teachers could keep abreast of the latest development of shipping industry. Prof. Jin Yongxing briefed Mr. Gu Jiangang on the overview of SMU and made a discussion on the possible mutual cooperation programs.
Mr. Gu Jiangang expressed his delight to visit SMU and he hoped to conduct cooperation with SMU in terms of technological innovation and students’ internship programs.
