On April 15, Elecworks Intelligent Electrical Design Laboratory, jointly established by SMU and Trace Software International（TSI）, unveiled at SMU.
The Elecworks Intelligent Electrical Design Laboratory applies the electrical design software named elecworks. It is based on international standard. It can be available for curriculum design, comprehensive experiment and subject research for postgraduates. It not only plays an important role in the cultivation of electrical talents but also sets up a strategic support for the long-term cooperation between SMU and TSI Company. What’s more, it can provide SMU a new platform for further external exchanges and school-enterprise cooperation.
After the unveiling ceremony, both parties, together with Distributed Energy Committee of Chinese Association of Automation and China Institute of Navigation, jointly hosted the 2016 Shanghai Elecworks Technical Seminar. Representatives included participants from Shanghai Institutes, Shanghai Jiaotong University, China COSCO Shipping Corporation Limited, etc. They conducted a deep discussion and exchanges based on technology of intelligent electrical design.
