On May 27, Dr. Chandra de Silva, Academic Dean, Vice President of Old Dominion University (ODU) along with his delegation visited SMU. Prof. Huang Youfang, President of SMU received all the visitors. Present in the meeting were Heads of International Education College, Scientific Research Academy and Graduate School.
Prof. Huang Youfang warmly welcomed Dr. Chandra de Silva as well as his delegation and briefed them on the overview of SMU. He mentioned that there were already various exchanges between ODU and SMU among teachers and students so he hoped the mutual cooperation could be further widened in the future.
Dr. Chandra de Silva expressed his gratitude to Prof. Huang Youfang. He expressed that ODU attached much importance to the cooperation with SMU and looked forward SMU and ODU could cooperate in the field of students’ joint training, teachers training and etc. Finally, both sides had a detailed discussion on the proposed programs.
