On October 12, the opening ceremony of W?rtsil? Exhibition Hall was held at SMU’s Merchant Marine College in the afternoon. Present were Mr. Roger Holm, Executive Vice-President of W?rtsil? Group, Director of Ocean Solution Group, Mr. Han Jianfeng, Director of W?rtsil? Group (China), Mr. Yang Wanfeng, Vice-President of SMU, as well as Heads of Merchant Marine College.
During the ceremony, Mr. Yang Wanfeng, Vice-President of SMU made a speech and expressed his sincere gratitude to W?rtsil? Group (China) for its great support. He mentioned that SMU will always pay high attention to the strategy cooperation with W?rtsil? Group (China), and will keep on cooperating in respect of Talent Cultivation, Scientific Research, Social Service, Cultural Inheritance and Innovation and etc so as to create a win-win situation.
Mr. Roger Holm, on behalf of W?rtsil? Group, Mr. Han Jianfeng, as the representative of W?rtsil? Group (China), respectively gave a speech in the ceremony. They all showed their appreciation for SMU producing a plenty of qualified talents to W?rtsil? and looked forward further collaboration. They indicated that, although the whole shipping industry remained distressed in recent years, W?rtsil? Group (China) still got great achievements; therefore, they wished that more graduates of SMU would like to take part in W?rtsil?.
