On October 11, Mr. Akihito Ishikawa, President of Nagasaki University of Foreign Studies, together with Mr. Awaya, the General Director, came to visit SMU. Prof. Huang Youfang, President of SMU, warmly received them. Heads from SMU College of Foreign Languages and International Office also took part in it.
Prof. Huang Youfang welcomed Mr.Akihito Ishikawa and Mr. Awaya for their visit; he introduced them the overview of SMU and presented the SMU’s opportunities under the development of “One Belt, One Road” strategy; he hoped that further cooperation could put into practice in order to cultivate more high-end language talents.
Mr.Akihito Ishikawa and Mr. Awaya expressed their thanks to SMU for providing supports in many fields during the cooperation; they mentioned that students of SMU were comprehensively excellent, many of them had already enrolled by Waseda University or other famous universities through exchange study. They also looked forward that more mutual cooperation could be conducted by both sides in the future.
