2016 SMU-NYK Prize Award Ceremony was held at SMU, on Nov, 8th. Present at the ceremony were Mr. Yuji Isoda, NYK Line’s chief representative for China and Prof. Shi Xin, Vice President of SMU. Both of them issued certificates to SMU-NYK winners.
Prof. Shi Xin, in his speech, extended his thanks to NYK Line for its supports for SMU during these years. This year, SMU signed the cooperation agreement with NYK in respect of scholarship and donation. Prof. Shi Xin hoped that all the prize winners could work hard to become shipping talents and make contribution to the society.
Mr. Yuji Isoda introduced to students NYK Line’s history and its business events. And he mentioned that NYK always stressed on social responsibility and therefore positively took part in public benefit activities. He hoped that all the students could study hard and concentrate themselves on the shipping industry.
