On May 22nd, President Zhang Qingfeng and his delegation from the Taiwan Ocean University paid a visit to Shanghai Maritime University. Mr. Huang Youfang, President of SMU, related leaders of SMU’s colleges and departments met the guests.
President Huang Youfang extended a warm welcome to the visit of President Zhang Qingfeng and then introduced the latest overview of SMU. He also stated that, SMU was faced with favorable opportunities of development and he hope that we could further strengthen the academic cooperation with Taiwan Ocean University.
President Zhang Qingfeng expressed his gratitude for the reception of President Huang Youfang and stated his agreement on the development philosophy of SMU, wishing to expand the cooperation and communication between the two universities.
Extensive communication was carried out on the subjects of university management and social services, etc.
