During August 14-16, President Huang Youfang and his group visited Hong Kong Transport and Housing Bureau, Hong Kong Marine Department, Hong Kong Shipowners' Association, City University of Hong Kong, Chu Kong Shipping Enterprises (Group) Company Limited ("CKSG"), Hong Kong Seamen's Union, COSCO SHIPPING (Hong Kong) Co., Limited and other related enterprises. They met with the heads of the enterprises and took in-depth exchanges with them on strengthening bilateral cooperation and promoting common development and other issues.
President Huang Youfang briefed the units and enterprises on the construction and development of SMU in recent years, focusing on the actions SMU had taken for the national strategy, such as "Belt and Road", International Shipping Center construction and Free Trade Zone construction. He said that serving the community is an important mission of colleges and universities. SMU is willing to cooperate with all units and enterprises in Hong Kong in shipping, logistics, port, marine and other areas to realize resource sharing, mutual benefit and win-win situation.
