On September 20th, Prof. Graham Baldwin, Chancellor of Southampton Solent University (SSU), visited SMU. Prof. Shi Xin, Vice President of SMU, met with the guests. The relevant heads from International Office and School of Economics & Management attended the meeting.
Prof. Shi Xin welcomed Prof. Baldwin and his delegation to visit SMU again. He said the two parties had already carried out the exchange of students to participate in each other's summer study project and the feedback was good. He hoped that both sides could expand the scope of cooperation, carry out short-term experience study and other cooperation, increase the scale of student exchanges and enhance cooperation levels in the future.
Prof. Baldwin thanked Prof. Shi Xin’s welcome. He introduced the development situation of the international cooperation project of SSU and totally support the student experience learning program proposed by Prof. Shi Xin. He said SSU would vigorously promote the implementation of the project.
Later, the two parties negotiated on the details of the projects to be conducted.
