Recently, Ms. Vivian Rambarath-Parasram, Director of the Maritime College of UTT, and Captain Sukhjit Singh visited SMU. Prof. Jin Yongxing, Chairman of SMU Council, Prof. Shi Xin, Vice-President of SMU and other related heads met with the guests.
Prof. Jin Yongxing extended his warm welcome to the representatives from UTT. He hoped SMU and UTT could carry out exchanges and cooperation in the field of maritime professional teaching and research. In addition, he congratulated UTT on the successful hosting of MTCC-Caribbean.
As the Director of MTCC-Caribbean, Ms. Vivian Rambarath-Parasram expressed the willingness to carry out technical cooperation, information sharing and exchange of experience with MTCC-Asia.
During the visit, Prof. Shi Xin and the guests discussed cooperation on the exchange of teachers and students, teaching resources sharing and other matters between SMU and UTT.
