On October 25, Postgraduate Academic Forum of 2017 Shanghai "International Marine New Energy and Logistics Engineering" was held at SMU. Mr. Yan Wei, Vice President of SMU, and heads from Shanghai Dianji University Graduate School, Shanghai Ocean University Graduate School, SMU Graduate School, SMU Logistics Engineering College and other relevant departments attended the opening ceremony.
The forum was jointly organized by Logistics Engineering College and the Graduate School. Professor Didier Trichet and Professor Luc Loron from Université de Nantes, France, Professor Demba Diallo from Université Paris-Sud, France, and Professor Mohamed Benbouzid from Brest University, France, were invited to deliver speaches.
This forum provides a platform of scientific research and knowledge exchange for the graduate students at home and abroad. It contains more than 70 papers from French Naval Academy, Shanghai Ocean University, Shanghai Dianji University and Shanghai Maritime University, covering electrical engineering, computer science and technology, naval architecture and ocean engineering and other related specialized subject and attracts more than 200 graduate students. At the same time, the forum led the graduate students to follow the frontier of marine new energy and logistics engineering disciplines, and to cultivate graduate students’ innovative spirit and ability. During the forum, 12 Chinese and foreign graduate students, including Zhang Milu, Liu Zhuo, Ding Xuan, Louis Gavériaux and Géraud Laverrière gave a paper exchange report. The graduate students learnt a lot through mutual exchange, expert lectures and theses comments.
