On the morning of November 7, Mr. Rhys Williams, Director of the International Development from Victoria University visited our university. Relevant officers from the International Office and College of Information Engineering of SMU attended the meeting.
Mr. Rhys Williams and his delegation firstly visited shipping information intelligent processing laboratory (hardware) and 4G mobile communication lab in the College of Information Engineering. The relevant teachers briefly introduced the main instruments and equipments in each lab as well as the teaching and researching purposes, and showed the main research results of each lab.
During the meeting, both sides briefed each other on the basic situation of university and actively discussed the feasibility of conducting exchange programs among students and teachers. Meanwhile, the two sides have conducted in-depth communication on cooperation models, professional coverage, tuition fees and entrance requirements so as to lay a good foundation for subsequent projects.
