On the morning of August 25, Graduation Ceremony of 13th SMU&WMU MSc Project in International Transport and Logistics was successfully held in SMU. Attendances at the ceremony were Dr. Cleopatra Doumbia-Henry, President of WMU, Prof. Ma Shuo, Vice-President of WMU and Prof. Jin Yongxin, Chairman of SMU Council, Prof.Shi Xin, Vice President of SMU, as well as related heads, representatives from 21 Century Silk Road Research Institute, Transport & Communications College, International Education College of SMU.
Prof.Jin Yongxin and Dr. Cleopatra Doumbia-Henry gave their own speeches respectively. They affirmed the plentiful fruits gained by the MSc Project on International Transport and Logistics over the past 14 years and sincerely hoped SMU and WMU would further strengthen cooperation in maritime education and scientific research based on this project.
At the ceremony, Prof.Jin Yongxin and Dr. Cleopatra Doumbia-Henry issued master's degree certificates and diplomas for 26 graduates and sent them warm congratulations and best wishes.
The representative from the Institute of International Containers Lessors (IICL) awarded the SMU-IICL scholarship for the outstanding graduates. The 2018 graduates presented souvenirs to SMU and WMU and students sang school songs of SMU and WMU.
After 14 years of journey, this program has trained nearly 400 graduates, among them nearly 40 are foreign students. Many graduates worked in top companies.
