On November 2, Vice president Shi Xin met President of Pacific University of Ecuador and Ms Sonia Roca’s delegation.
Vice President Shi welcomed President Sonia Roca and introduced SMU’s operating situation as well as subject setting. Moreover, Vice president Shi also expressed the wish to corporate with Pacific University of Ecuador.
President Sonia Roca said that SMU was a world-famous maritime university which equipped with sophisticated teaching facilities and she expected to have further cooperation with SMU.
Vice president Shi exchanged views with President Sonia Roca on future cooperation fields and signed a cooperation memorandum. In the near future, SUM will collaborate with Pacific University of Ecuador in the fields of exchange between teachers, educate and research, which would boost the academic exchange between China and Latin America in the domains of transport and international business.
