On November 8th, 2018 Global Trade and International Logistics Summit Forum, which was one of the most important supporting forums of China International Import Expo was held in Shanghai. President Huang Youfang attended the forum and delivered a keynote speech. SMU also released Chinese Proposals of Global Trade and International Logistics on the forum.
The Chair of the Financial and Economic Affairs Committee of the National People's Congress and the former Minister of Ministry of Transport, Li Shenglin, Vice Minister of Ministry of Transport, Liu Xiaoming, former Minister of Ministry of Transport, Xu Zuyuan and other 500-odd respected officials took part in this forum.

Huang illustrated his contemplation on the 1st China International Import Expo: this unprecedented event would propel the development of international trade and logistics, improve logistics efficiency, reduce costs, and balance China’s export and import.
