On November 11th, Wei Yinhui from University of Plymouth visited SMU and communicated with students and teachers from College of Arts and Science.
On the morning, Ms Wei hosted a meeting on 3+1/2+2 studying abroad program in teaching building 2B101 and attracted a large turnout. Wei introduced University of Plymouth from its ranking, geographical position, campus life, majors, faculty, employment and scholarships. Then, some interested students consulted Ms Wei about the specific situation.
On the afternoon, accompanied by teacher from International Office, Ms Wei had a deep exchange with professors from College of Arts and Science. The two parties discussed on issues like cooperative courses and postgraduate training.
Since the setting of the program, we already sent 3 students to study in University of Plymouth and Yike Han who attended this program in 2017 had graduated this July. Han was offered bachelor’s degree of SMU and University of Plymouth as well as the International Student Scholarship.
