On November 19th, SMU organized the Third International New Energy Industry Innovation(Experts) Symposium. Prof. Dr. Junhao Chu from Shanghai Institute of Technical Physics, Vice President of Pudong New Area Association for Science and Technology Yaohua Liu,, Vice President Xin Shi of SMU and other distinguished leaders have delivered speeches on the symposium. About 200 participants from home and abroad were attracted to this big event.
Vice President Shi said, “SMU’s self-definition and development resonate with Lingang Area’s. Considering Lingang’s industrial characteristics, we have adjusted our majors actively to adapt to the rocketing economy. We also introduced excellent faculty to help to train talents for society. ”
The symposium entailed 47 reports and 6 innovative projects. Conventioneers had deep exchanges and discussions over profound questions concerned with new energy industry. This symposium worked as a platform for companies to communicate with experts directly to solve their technological problems and to promote their cooperation. It also helped to build close collaboration among enterprises, universities and scientific research institutions.
