On November 19th, President of Nikola Vaptsarov Naval Academy Boyan Mednikarov and Director of International Office Dimiter Illeieff visited SMU. Vice President Xin Shi and Head of relevant department meat them.
Mr Shi gave a warm welcome to Mr Boyan Mednikarov and Mr Dimiter Illeieff. Shi introduced SMU’s general situation, subject setting and wished to have broader exchange and scientific cooperation with Nikola Vaptsarov Naval Academy.
Mr Boyan Mednikarov said that SMU had a close cooperation with Nikola Vaptsarov Naval Academy for all these years, and he hoped the exchange and collaboration could grow deeper through this visit.
Nikola Vaptsarov Naval Academy was established in 1881 and has been Bulgaria’s first maritime educational institution. It provides students with bachelor, master and doctor degree program and has trained many maritime talents for Bulgaria.
