Lately, SMU held New Year Party for international students. Teachers from relevant colleges and departments gathered together with international students to celebrate this joyous event.
Leaders of SMU awarded 27 outstanding international students for their excellent performance, which inspired more international students to study assiduously.
During the party, international students presented splendid performance for attendees. “My Quest, to the tune of ‘The Whole River Red’” by Rui Shi from Nepal and “Confucius” performed by students from Panama, Turkmenistan and Congo have brought the party to its climax. These performance showed international students’ enthusiasm for Chinese culture and promoted the exchange between China and foreign countries. The party closed in beautiful singing played by African students.
