On the afternoon of March 18th, the Opening Ceremony of the 15th Master Program in International Transport and Logistics co-founded by SMU and World Maritime University (WMU) was smoothly held at SMU’s Dongming campus. Prof. Shuo Ma, Vice President of WMU and Prof. Xin Shi, Vice President of SMU attended the ceremony.
Prof.Xin Shi delivered a welcome speech, spoke highly of fruits and developments gained over these years, and expressed his hope and expectations for all members.
Prof. Shuo Ma introduced the characteristics of this program and wished students to work hard to become high-quality maritime talents.
The ITL Program has by now cultivated over 400 graduates across the world with widespread approval. This year we recruited 28 students, and 5 of which came from countries like America, Trinidad, Tobago, Netherlands, South Korea and Malaysia.
