On March 21, a delegation led by Abdulrahman Al-Hatlan, ARAMCO Shanghai Office Director at Aramco Asia visited SMU. The delegation was greeted by SMU President Youfang Huang and heads of related departments.
Prof. Huang welcomed Mr Abdulrahman Al-Hatlan and two other delegates. He pointed out that SMU was a multi-disciplinary university that featured with shipping, logistics, ocean and researches in various aspects like maritime education, logistics and supply chain. Prof. Huang stressed that being Saudi Aramco’s only partner university in Shanghai, SMU was honored to promote mutually beneficial cooperation in a broad range of areas together with Saudi Aramco.
Mr Abdulrahman Al-Hatlan extended his appreciation to SMU for its hospitality. He hoped to have the opportunity to introduce some advanced technologies and talents from SMU as well as to promote cooperation with Universities in Saudi Arabia.
