On April 8th, Director of Ecole Polytechnique de l'universit de Nantes (Polytech’Nantes), Professor Philippe Dépincé visited SMU. The distinguished guests have been received by Vice President of SMU, Professor Shi Xin.
Prof. Shi pointed out that SMU is a comprehensive university characterized in maritime, transportation and communication, harbour, shipping, logistics, ocean, to name just a few. These years, along with the development of its reputation and educational quality, we began to deepen our cooperation with foreign universities. Prof. Shi noted that French was famous for its engineer training and we anticipated that the two sides could expand cooperation in talent cultivation in the years to come.
Prof.Philippe hoped that his first visit and meaningful consultation could give impetus to deeper cooperation with SMU in the field of teachers exchange and students training.
Later, the two parties discussed on related courses and admission requirements.
