From June 10 to 13, accompanied by heads ofrelated departments，President of SMU HuangYoufang visited University of Ljubljana and Odessa National MaritimeUniversity.
In the meeting, Huang Youfang, President of SMUintroduced SMU’s achievements on talents training, scientific research, internationalexchange and the Belt and Road Initiative. He hoped to expand cooperation withEuropean universities in areas like shipping, logistics and ocean, optimize thepattern of talent training and teachers exchange, and promote mutualdevelopment.
Igor Papi?, President of University of Ljubljanawelcomed the delegation. He expressed that this year we would celebrate bothSMU’s 110 anniversary and University of Ljubljana’s 100 anniversary. “Isincerely hope that we could smoothly implement cooperation agreements andcarry forward the cooperation in various areas.” said Prof. Dr. Igor Papi?.
Sergii V. Rudenko, President of Odessa NationalMaritime University introduced its history, development and cooperation withSMU. He spoke highly of the current cooperation and hoped to broaden it in thefields of international exchange, teachers exchange and the like.
