On June 25, the delegation headed by Erick P. Massami, President of Dar es Salaam Maritime Institute in Tanzania, visited SMU. Professor Huang Youfang, President of SMU, met with the guests.
Prof. Huang extended warm welcome to the guests. He said that since the signing of the memorandum of cooperation in 2008, the two sides have carried out effective cooperation in student exchanges and other aspects. He said that SMU is glad to provide support for the development of Dar es Salaam Maritime Institute as always. He hoped that the two sides can strengthen cooperation in maritime education, teacher exchanges and student internships in the future.
President Erick expressed his gratitude for the warm hospitality of SMU. He hoped that the visit can further promote the cooperation between the two sides.
Later the two sides discussed matters on expanding teacher-student exchanges, developing cooperative courses in details.
