On December 4th, a delegation headed by Mr. Samir Hadzic, the President of China Montenegro Friendship Association, visited Shanghai Maritime University (SMU). Prof. Shi Xin, Vice President of SMU met with the guests. Heads from the International Office, International Education College and Merchant Marine College attended the meeting.
Prof. Shi Xin briefed the guests on the development, educational features, scientific research level and international cooperation of SMU. He hoped that the two sides could take this meeting as an opportunity to promote the cooperation between SMU and universities and shipping enterprises in Montenegro.
President Samir said that Belt and Road Initiative has brought win-win cooperation between Montenegro and China. He introduced the geographical advantages, cultural characteristics, transportation construction and educational resources of the Republic of Montenegro, aiming at promoting bilateral cooperation in the maritime field.
