On May 19, the 2019 Shanghai Science and Technology Awards Conference was held in Shanghai Exhibition Center to solemnly honor the scientific breakthroughs and distinguished researchers. Six achievements from SMU were awarded.
The "Key Technologies and Application of Collaborative Optimization and Intelligent Operation of Large Ships Integrated Power System" jointly completed by Professor Gu Wei from the Institute of Logistics Science and Engineering of SMU and researchers from Shanghai Jiaotong University and other units won the first prize of Science and Technology Progress.
The "Key Technologies and Applications of Functional Transformation and Engineering Construction in Typical Old Port Areas" led by Professor Wang Xuefeng of the College of Transport and Communications and the "Integrated Network Security Management and Active Real-time Defense Technologies and Applications" led by Professor Han Dezhi of the College of Information Engineering won the second prize of Science and Technology Progress.
The "Key Technology and Application of Automatic Power Distributing Fault-tolerance in Ships and Offshore Platforms" led by Professor Shi Weifeng of the Logistics Engineering College and the "Key Technology Innovation and Application of Phase Transition Thermal Storage Heating Devices" led by Professor Zhang Xuelai of the Merchant Marine College were awarded the Third of Science and Technology Progress.
The "Research and Application of Wusongkou Water Potential, River Regime and Estuary Optimal Utilization" jointly completed by Professor Xiao Yingjie of Merchant Marine College and researchers from Shanghai Water Engineering Design and Research Institute Co., Ltd. and other units won the third prize of Science and Technology Progress.
