SISI held the 6th Plenary Meeting of Global Shipping Think Tank Alliance and released the GSTTA Book

On May 17th, Shanghai International Shipping Institute(SISI) held the sixth plenary meeting of the Global Shipping Think Tank Alliance (GSTTA) online. Member representatives from Korea Maritime Institute (Korea), World Maritime University (Sweden), Drewry (UK), Institute of Shipping Economics and Logistics (Germany), SRM (Italy), Maritime Library and R&D Centre of Hong Kong Polytechnic University (Hong Kong, China), Center for Maritime Studies of National University of Singapore (Singapore), Arab Academy for Science Technology and Maritime Transport (Egypt) attended the meeting.

At the meeting, the GSTTA BOOK- Impact of COVID-19 on the Maritime Industry was released, which included brilliant views and analyses from relevant members. The Book focuses on the impact of the COVID-19 on the maritime industry and regional shipping industry development, highlighting practices, policies and challenges in the digital age, and providing opinions and suggestions for the global port and shipping industry.

The purpose of the meeting is to strengthen the ties among members and to provide a platform for discussing the development and prospects of the global port and shipping industry under the influence of COVID-19.
