On the morning of April 12, a delegation headed by Mr Wang Jun, Assistant Provost for Strategic Initiatives of University of California, Riverside visited SMU. Mr Shi Xin, Vice President, Mrs Wang Yingming, Deputy Director of International Office and heads of Logistics Engineering College met with the guests.
Mr Shi Xin welcomed Mr Wang Jun and his delegation. He reviewed the achievements of the cooperation between SMU and UCR in the cultivation of international talents in recent years, and expressed the willingness to expand the cooperation model and cooperation majors based on the current cooperation.
Mr Wang Jun thanked SMU for warm reception and introduced the development of UCR in recent years. He hoped that the two sides could further cooperate in the fields of students study abroad and faculty visits in the future.
Afterwards，at the student study abroad program promotion activity, the guests introduced the 3+1 study abroad program to students from the aspects of admission policy, major setting, career development, campus environment, etc., and answered the students' questions.
